SENIOR A.A.I STAFF-

Anthony Comben (Aus) Involved in Outdoor Recreation as a career for the last 15 years, Anthony started adult life as a ski-bum and pretty much stayed that way, except he built an exceptional career on his skiing skills and until recently was employed by LaTrobe University as a manager. He runs two other very healthy businesses. [Father of two boys]

Rob Trevitt (UK) A mountaineer by trade Rob got the complete arena of adventure sports thrust down his willing gullet at a very early age. A highly regarded climber and instructor he came to Australia for a two week holiday in 1994 after working in the French Alps, Italian Dolomites and all over the UK. Anything to do with ropey stuff is his forte.

Warren Kay (Aus) After a couple of false starts he now owns and operates a very successful business in Melbourne. Warren is a highly motivated, ever happy, incredibly fit bike freak who ticks off 150km on a slow day.

Sam McDougal (Aus) Another ski-bum turned good; Sam now runs the Mt Buller Ski Patrol. These are the guys who try to patch people together after high speed crashes. Very good to have him around on those heavy gravity days. He has also single-handedly developed the mountain biking courses within the resort boundaries (chairlift up). [Father of two girls]

Steve Monks (UK) This guy is at the top of his game, climbing and mountaineering. Steve is a co-owner of the International School of Mountaineering in Leysin, Switzerland and is forced to spend his summer there and then have another summer here in Australia; no winter for 23 years.

Nic Pallet (UK ) Nic is a young gun who has mastered the arts of skiing, paddling, hang-gliding and guitaring; he has worked in tertiary education for the last six years and is apparently undrownable. His major strengths lie in kayaking the big stuff.

Georgia LaPlastrier (Aus) Now working on her business skills in Kathmandu where she manages the short-term futures of many uber-adventurers who feel the need to paddle huge rivers in the Himalaya, where all the odds are against you. We drag her back home for a rest every now and then
