Adventure/Recreation The staff at AAI are excellent - the best around; all staff are over 28 who happen to have lived incredibly adventurous lives since leaving school and have turned their skills into a full time profession; most are parents. We mainly live in the heart of the Australian Alpine High Country so just about anything is possible; our own back garden contains a mountain biking Mecca (the world cup downhill track is 500m away), a stocked private trout lake and perfect fishing rivers, a 5000ft mountain (with chairlifts), river rapids ranging from flat to grade IV (dam-released), thousands of acres of perfect riding country, a 70km panoramic view over the Alps, a six storey abseil tower, a huge sports hall, a sixteen metre indoor climbing wall, tennis/basketball/soccer/hockey etc courts, an archery range even have our own private cinema (250 seats) and of course there is plenty of accommodation/bars/spas in the ski village. Sometimes the best result for the clients is to be found in other locations such as Arapiles (rock climbing) or the Whitsunday Islands (yachting, sea kayaking). In such cases, travel is not a problem have the trailers, the 4WDs, even a 21-seater bus.
